Centenary Fields
Fields in Trust’s Centenary Fields initiative (http://www.fieldsintrust.org/centenaryfields.aspx), in partnership with The Royal British Legion, has seen landowners working with Field sin Trust to protect sites with a tangible link to The Great War. The UK-wide project, running concurrently with the 100th anniversary of World War I has seen landowners protect flagship memorial parks, gardens of remembrance, memorial orchards or any green space that has a tangible link that the community value. As with all of Field sin Trust’s protection, ownership, management and maintenance stays with the landowner. The deadline for applications for this not-to-be-repeated commemoration project is Armistice 2018.

Active Spaces
Fields in Trust’s Active Spaces project (www.fieldsintrust.org/activespaces), in partnership with The London Marathon Charitable Trust is engaging with local projects getting communities active on green spaces. By agreeing to protect a green space that will host new, or planned physical activity projects, landowners will receive £5,000, subject to a successful application, for the project. Time is limited, so please check out the link and contact your Fields in Trust Development Manager if you have any questions, or would like to apply. The deadline for applications is 27th April 2018, with projects to be delivered by September 2018.
